Congratulations to all the finalists and good luck in the finals.

I really think we have some true gems in the mix this year.  There really was some absolutely incredible work.  Thank you all for making my gaming experience that much more awesome.

Greetings!

A few questions for you;
Is the "Most replayable module" no longer a category?
Is there going to be a cool you-tube video like there was for 2008?
When will the results be announced?

Cheers,

BT

What we did this year is to set some categories as core categories and others as non-core.  All core categories are the priority categories and the core categories were decided by popular vote.  Most Replayable Module was not a core category.  The way the voting worked this year, is if a non-core category had 3 nominations in it, it moved on to the finals.  Unfortunately, Most Replayable Module did not make the cut.

Sadly, I believe there will be no video this year.  Qkrch made the videos in the past years and he has been inactive for quite some time.

The finals will be announced either late this month, or early next.  We want to announce them on the podcast again like in the previous years.

Just as a (shameless) recruiting plug: the selection of core categories we can cover depends on the number and preferences of our active members. The only reason we cut "Most Replayable" is because there weren't enough of us to include it this year. So if you'd like to see a more robust portfolio of GDAs awarded and have the time and interest to help out, please consider joining the AME. :)

Andarian,

I sent you a message via the Vault some time ago - did it arrive?

Andarian,

I sent you a message via the Vault some time ago - did it arrive?

I think it must have gotten lost. I don't remember seeing one, and can't find one in my email archive. If you want to reach me for AME related correspondence, you can send it to me directly at andarian at ame dash gda dot net (spelled out to defeat email harvesters). :)
